Departing from Rome we head direction south, towards Naples to start our Pompeii Sorrento Capri tour which will take place in two days:
1st Day: Traveling south along the Highway of the Sun, you reach the picturesque city of Naples, for a panoramic visit meeting a local guide. After leaving the city, and crossing the fertile valley of Vesuvius and the famous towns of Herculaneum, Torre Annunziata, and Torre del Greco (where you can visit an ancient cameos and coral factory, typical expression of local artists since the Greek era), you reach Pompeii. Here, after a lunch break in a local restaurant, always with our guide, an incredible walk within the most famous archaeological area in the world awaits you.
At the end of the visit of the excavations, we head towards one of the most beautiful panoramic roads in Italy: the Sorrento coast, which takes its name from the town of Sorrento. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
2nd Day: After a rich breakfast, embarkation for Capri. After just 20 minutes of navigation you will reach the port of Marina Grande. Transfer on motorboats to visit the Blue Grotto as long as the weather and sea conditions allow it. Panoramic tour of the island with the towns of Capri and Anacapri. Lunch and free time in the afternoon before embarking to reach the city of Naples, where you will meet our bus for the return trip to Rome. The return is scheduled near our Green Line Tours office, in the area of Termini Station.
For logistical reasons, the name of the hotel where you will be staying in Sorrento will be communicated on the day of departure.
