Departure from Rome and arrival in Pompeii in the morning. Guided tour of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The excavations of Pompeii preserve an entire buried city that in the eighth century knew a rich architectural and economic splendor. In 79 A.D. the city and its inhabitants were dramatically buried by the rain of ash and lapilli coming from the eruption of Vesuvius. An exciting experience for all tourists who every year visit the ancient city of Pompeii.
After lunch, in the afternoon we reach the nearby Ercolano with departure of the panoramic tour of Vesuvius on board in our open bus. An audio guide in 8 languages will tell us the history of the Vesuvian area to accompany us at an altitude of a thousand, where waiting for us will be the breathtaking experience of the naturalistic walk at the area of the Gran Cono of the volcano and the magical scenery of the Gulf of Naples, and the Islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida.
