Via Giovanni Amendola, 32 Roma
Leaving Rome, enjoy a full day in Siena, one of the most famous cities of the Tuscany region, located in the center of a vast hilly landscape, whose historic center was recently named part of the UNESCO world artistic heritage. A very interesting walking tour, with a professional local guide, through the streets of the city is waiting for you. Lunch in a local restaurant to taste typical food and wine of the tuscan tradition.
Siena is the city of art, of culture, of architecture, is the city of good food, and the city of the Palio. Many are its faces, but the city is unique. It still maintains its appearance unchanged and time seems to have stopped in Siena in the thirteenth century, when the city began to enrich itself with an artistic and architectural heritage that has consecrated its glory forever.
Siena stands out for its medieval brick buildings, and Piazza del Campo, the central square with its characteristic fan shape, is the seat of the Public palace. The seventeen historic medieval districts extend all around right from the square.
Once in Siena, you will have some free time at your disposal, and then a delicious, typical Tuscan lunch in a local restaurant.
After lunch the Siena Tour will start; you will meet with your local guide, who will begin the tour to the city centre properly with the main square, Piazza del Campo, scenery of the world famous Palio di Siena horse race, in order to continue with other places of tourist interest, including the Cathedral with a visit inside.
At the end of the Siena Tour we will return to the coach for a journey of approximately 3 hours back to Rome.
