The tour will start directly from our Green Line Tours - San Pietro booking Office, where you are going to meet our local guide, who will take you to discover the treasures and masterpieces of the most famous museums in the world.
So walking along the walls of the Vatican city, you will reach the entrance of the Vatican Museums where you can admire beautiful frescos, paintings, sculptures, and works of art collected by the Popes during the centuries. Once inside, you will visit the Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Geographical Maps, until you arrive in the famous Sistine Chapel, with its incredible frescos on the vault, representing the stories of the Old Testament, and the magnificent fresco of the Last Judgement by Michelangelo. At the end of the visit to the museums, you will have time to discover the beauty of the St.Peter’s Basilica too.
You will continue taking our GLT Open Bus, from Vatican City to the historic center of Rome, where you will enjoy lunch first, in a local restaurant of the city, and then, in the early afternoon, a very interesting visit to the symbol of the Eternal City, the Colosseum (visit inside, the entrance fee is included).
Our local guide will explain to you all the history and the secrets of this incredible construction famous all over the world, and now two thousands years old, and then finally the amazing panoramic walk to the archeological area of the Roman Forum.
This tour is not available every first Sunday of each month and December 25.

The tour is not recommended for people with walking difficulties. Architectural barriers along the path. Not wheelchair accessible.
